Dr. Quartulain Bakhteari

I present to you another inspirational story. This time of a Pakistani woman, who even though was a rich landlord's grand daughter, was brought up in rural areas along with the general poor population of Pakistan that lived in camps. Living in poverty in the literal sense but not feeling like it. She grew up to learn precious lessons in life that made her the person she is today. She learnt to stand up for others, and for injustice! To be kind to others and be brave. She become a fearless woman who ended up, in later years of her life, to help build over 5000 sanitary toilets which used less amount of water and were very hygienic. She helped build over 2000 schools in Baluchistan for girls education. She continues to inspire the world today, and teaches us to be brave enough to stand up for injustice and to stay determined with our goals. Here's an inspirational video of her where she explains her journey in life.
