People do dieting to lose weight of course, but does it really help? It really depends on the kind of diet you do, I think. Also the fact that do you maintain your weight after dieting also makes a huge impact.
Some people diet like they swim. The moment they leave it, they gain all their weight back. In some cases they gain even more than what they were before. What do we do now? Do we just eat healthy and lose calories through exercise alone? Or do we just walk regularly? Some say walking doesn't help either. NOW what do we do?
I had gone through this same phase of confusion myself. What I decided, was that dieting is never a solution. Exercise is a good option but can you be regular at it? because I know I can't. What I had decided for myself, and what I recommend to others is, forget losing weight. Just eat. Eat a good breakfast everyday and a good amount of water. And if you're really that insecure about yourself then consider dressing up according to your body type. Something that suits you, makes you look slimmer than before ( Those compliments will make you feel much better about yourself) and just be confident with the way you are. Trust me, no body cares about how fat you are, except for yourself.
